Nice game! It's very small, and a bit rough but I find it pretty nice to play, so great work! I have put together a teeny weeny bit of feedback, so sorry for the wall of text! It's a habit from mine and Abhi's feedbacking to each other heh.
Gameplay:
Gameplay is super simple but works pretty well. It's a bit unfortunate that button-mashing is such a valid tactic, I would have liked it to be a tad more tactical. That would have been a very different experience, and that might not have been what you were aiming for though. The upgrades were a nice addition, and helped break up the rounds, big plus for them! The hearts only replenishing when you upgrade them is both frustrating and very interesting, it forces you to not upgrade hearts like crazy and then run out of money (which I, no shit, did). The other two options did not make any noticeable difference for me, since button-mashing was the path I went. Anyways, I think that's it for gameplay, in short: button-mashing too valid, upgrade menu = :D, health regeneration frustrating but still nice. Oh and the gameplay area could be larger and UI smaller.
Music:
Music is really good! I love the 8-bitty style, and it goes together really well with a pretty conventional pixelart game. Great work!
Art:
The artstyle does make the game pretty difficult to read, since there is no colour difference between enemy, player, UI, ball and so on. A lesson could be stolen / taken from downwell, and that is that colours can be a really good tool to visually differentiate different things (that's a mouthful) from each other. Downwell has the same 8-bitty style, so that would translate almost seamlessly.
Bugs and jank:
Text is a bit too large, it would not have hurt to make it a fair bit smaller. Also a bunch of letters seem to be "cut off", like S and C.
All in all, pretty nice lil game, some things to figure out, but I liked it. Buncha fun!
